I like just mementos falling into my hands. Anything memorable, often gotten for free. Things like sand dollars, shells, and poker chips. Or a stuffed doll from The Water Horse. Or the four pounds of beads from Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I even kept the random plastic monster figures my friends and I got from chocolate eggs over spring break in Florida. My favorite mementos are the random tidbits I can keep on a souvenir shelf and ponder why I got them.

Though I do have an adorable Yale Bulldog magnet from when I was in New Haven, Conn. Had to get that.
