My loop of Lake Erie ends at the southern most part of mainland Canada, on a beach at Point Pelee National Park. It’s a pretty dramatic sight, watching the sands narrow to a slim point. My trip was full of good food, strangers-turned-friends, and Kodak moments, but it’s hard for me to see the tip as anything other than an arrow pointing in the direction home.— Hilary Solan
