Cleveland, Ohio—The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2009 induction nominees, giving fans plenty of time to schedule trips to Cleveland next year. The nominees are Jeff Beck, Chic, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Metallica, Run-D.M.C., the Stooges, War, Bobby Womack and my beloved Wanda Jackson. The five chosen artists will be announced in January, and the induction ceremony is set for early April in the historic Public Hall. Advance ticket sales for the ceremony and the weeklong series of events will be available to museum members first and then to the public.
