Portage La Prairie, Man. — There’s plenty to see and talk about at the interesting and worth-a-stop Fort la Reine Museum and Pioneer Village (more on that later), but I figure as long as this doll and mannequin are trying to kill me whenever I sleep, it would be criminal not to share the fear with you. — Michael Peck

Place both of them in the trashcan and place something heavy, like an atlas, atop it and tie a robe belt around the whole contraption and turn it upside and stick’m in the closet. You should be alright.
If on returning to the room they are back out on the shelf where they started . . . scram!

Abracabra, I sit on his knee…
Presto chango;
and now he is me…
Hocus pocus;
we take her to bed…
Magic if fun;
we’re dead…
